Services

The Center for Mental Health & Well-Being provides confidential outpatient counseling, medication management, and employee assistance services. Commitment and involvement in each aspect of care is essential to success.

Outpatient Counseling Services

The Center for Mental Health & Well-Being offers outpatient counseling to adults, children (ages 5 and older), adolescents, families, and couples. Concerns and problems that can be addressed include:

  • Anger
  • Anxiety
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
  • Child and adolescent behavior problems
  • Communication difficulties
  • Depression
  • Divorce/separation
  • Grief
  • Life transitions
  • Relationship problems

Outpatient Medication Management Services

An additional service, which enhances the benefits of outpatient counseling, is the management of medications prescribed by a physician. In coordination with your family physician, psychiatrists can prescribe and monitor medications that significantly decrease symptoms such as:

  • Angry outbursts
  • Anxiety
  • Depressed mood
  • Disturbed thinking
  • Impulsivity
  • Mood swings
